• Determine room-by-room loads and air-flows
• If sytem being considered is ducted, determine grille locations and types, duct lengths, and connections required to produce a layout given construction constraints.
• Size equipment to manufacturers speicification.
•  Test the system to ensure performance criteria meet design parameters.
