• Measure area that requires air conditioning
• If suspended ceiling check ceiling void
• If there is no false ceiling, decide what equipment is most suited to you
• Check what positions are available for out door unit i.e. ground level, high level, wall mount on brackets, flat roof area etc.
• Measure approximate pipe run length
• Check what type of condense drain can be used (i.e. gravity drain, or will it require a mechanical pump?)
• Availability and location of electrical supply
• Where services will exit building
• The thickness of walls.
• Calculate solar and heat loss
• Will we require any specialist services (i.e. builder, specialist lifting company?)
•  Access to and from site
• Will an access tower be required?
